SHERBURNE COUNTY NOTICE OF
TAX -FORFEITED LAND
INITIAL PUBLIC SALE
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN the parcels of land described herein shall be sold to the highest bidder at a public sale in accordance with M.S. Chapter 282 for no less than the estimated market value, as determined by the most recent assessment. Any properties that do not sell will be offered on a subsequent public sale. The minimum bid price for the subsequent sale will be the sum of all delinquent taxes, special assessments, penalties, interest, and costs assigned to the parcel. The Subsequent Action Minimum bid is subject to change due to ongoing interest, penalties and costs.
The County Auditor shall conduct the initial sale via online auction through Public Surplus starting on February 11, 2026, and closing on March 12, 2026, at 10:00am. The property listings will be available to preview on the Public Surplus website. The subsequent sale for unsold properties will start March 16th, 2026, and close March 31, 2026, at 10am.
All property is sold “as is” and may not conform to local building and zoning ordinances. Sherburne County makes no warranty that the land is “buildable”.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ARE PERMITTED.
