NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

VACANCY ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Big Lake is presently seeking applicants to fill two (2) vacancies on the Big Lake Planning Commission. Each vacancy is a 4-year term.

The Planning Commission meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first Monday of the month and advises the City Council on land use decisions such as plat approvals, variance and conditional use permit requests, and planned unit developments.  

Any City resident interested in serving on the Planning Commission should submit a letter of interest that includes a description of employment and educational background which may be relevant to the position as well as reasons for applying and their aspirations for the future of Big Lake.
