SECTION 1 – PURPOSE

SECTION 2 - DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS.

100.01 - Definitions.  

100.02 - Enforcement.  

100.03 - Right of Entry.  

100.04 - Records.  

100.05 - Running at Large Prohibited.  

100.06 - Confinement of animals/dogs with history of biting.  

100.07 - Dog/Animal on a leash.  

100.08 - Abandonment of Animals.  

100.09 - Rabies Shots Required.  

100.10 - Impounding Dogs.  

100.11 - Impounding Stray Dogs or Animals.

100.12 - Disposition of Certain Diseased or Dangerous Dogs or Other Animals.

100.13 - Redemption of Dogs and Other Animals.

100.14 - Possession of Nuisance Animals.  

100.15 - Animals Disturbing the Peace.  

100.16 - Permits for commercial dog kennels and permits for keeping more than three dogs over the age of six months.

100.17 – Keeping of certain animals absolutely prohibited.

18. - Maintenance of Animal Quarters.

19. - An owner shall not allow their dog/animal to leave bodily wastes on property owned by another.

SECTION 3 – ENFORCEMENT

100.20 -This ordinance adopts 

100.21 - Any person violating sections 100.05 through 100.09 and 100.14 through 100.19 of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor \

100.22 - Administrative Enforcement.

23. - This Ordinance does not regulate commercial dog kennels which operate under an interim use permit from Becker Township.

SECTION 4 – EFFECTIVE DATE

24.  - This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon enactment and publication.
