ORDINANCE NO. 2025-03

AMENDING PART I, CHAPTER 34 – TRAFFIC AND 

VEHICLES, ARTICLE III – PARKING

OF THE CLEARWATER CITY CODE

THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, MINNESOTA, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

A new Section 34-70 – No Parking Zones is hereby added to this Chapter.

Section 34-70 – No Parking Zones

(a) Ash Street – Parking is hereby prohibited on both sides of Ash Street from County Road 75 to T.H. 24.

(b) Smith Street – Restricted vehicle parking is hereby prohibited on the south side of Smith Street. Restricted vehicles include a truck-tractor, semitrailer, bus, school bus, or any commercial motor vehicle, as those terms are defined in Minn. Stats. Ch. 169, (collectively, “restricted vehicles”). Authorized emergency vehicles, as defined by Minn. Stats. Ch. 169, are excluded from said definition of restricted vehicles.

Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be effective August 11, 2025, following its passage and publication, which is hereby authorized by the City Council.
