NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN IMPERVIOUS SURFACE INCREASE AT 1097 KLICKITAT STREET

You are hereby notified that the Big Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the allowed 25% Impervious Surface Coverage at 1097 Klickitat Street. The hearing will be held in the Big Lake City Hall Council Chambers located at 160 Lake Street North on Monday, October 6, 2025, at or about 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter.

Applicant: David Vinje, Attics to Basements, 18575 Lander Street NW, Elk River, MN 55330

Owner: Hope and Jim Ayers, 1140 86th Ave, Brooklyn Park, MN 55444

Location: 1097 Klickitat Street, Big Lake, MN 55309

Request(s): A conditional use permit to exceed the maximum 25% impervious surface coverage in the R-5 zoning district as allowed by Section 1003.11, Subd. 4(3) of the Zoning Ordinance.
