The Township of Becker intends to replace the culvert spanning 87th Ave – approximately 1 mile East of County Road 11. Construction should commence on Monday, May 4, 2015.  

Residents and users of 87th Ave. are being forewarned by township supervisors, the township engineer and the contractor that the roadway will be subject to a complete road closure lasting several days.  

Traffic control signage will be in place a minimum of 48 hours prior to the commencement of work. Law enforcement and emergency services will be notified of the actual schedule and detours will be posted.

The township, engineer and contractor ask for users of the road and residents along 87th  Ave. to be patient while work is being done to replace the culvert which is severely compromised.
