Chair Swanson called the regular meeting of the School Board of District #726 to order on the 4th day of May, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the Teaching & Learning Center.

Roll Call.                                           

Members present:   Aaron Jurek, Jason Kindred, Lori Molus, Ryan Obermoller,
                                    Connie Robinson, Mark Swanson

Members absent:    None

Others present:       Jeremy Schmidt, Superintendent

                                    Kevin Januszewski, Director of Business Services

Citizen Comments: None

Presentation:  Becker Enrollment Projections, ICS Consulting

Presentation:  TRAK, Chantel Boyer, Middle School Principal

Motion by Ryan Obermoller, seconded by Connie Robinson, to Approve the Consent Agenda as amended:

Move to Regular Agenda for Discussion:  Resolution Relating to the Nonrenewal of Probationary Teachers

Upon roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.

CONSENT AGENDA

MINUTES FROM THE APRIL 6, 2020 REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

DISBURSEMENTS – in the amount of $1,407,042.35

PERSONNEL, as presented

GIFTS, as presented

20 FOR ’20 FUNDRAISER, as presented

Kevin Januszewski, Director of Business Services, Provided a Budget Presentation.  No action was taken.

Motion by Ryan Obermoller, seconded by Connie Robinson, to Remove Mike Smith from the Resolution Relating to the Nonrenewal of Probationary Teachers for a separate vote.  Upon roll call vote, the following voted in favor thereof:  Ryan Obermoller, Connie Robinson, and the following voted against the same:  Aaron Jurek, Jason Kindred, Lori Molus, Mark Swanson.  Motion failed.

Motion by Mark Swanson, seconded by Lori Molus to Approve the the Resolution Relating to the Nonrenewal of Probationary Teachers, as presented.  Upon roll call vote, the following voted in favor thereof:  Aaron Jurek, Jason Kindred, Lori Molus, Mark Swanson, and the following voted against the same:  Ryan Obermoller, Connie Robinson.  Motion carried.

The School Board approved a Graduation Planning Meeting on Monday, May 18.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
