FOR BIDS

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Sealed bids for Chip Sealing approximately 2.5 miles of gravel road will be received by Clearwater Township, Minnesota at the office of the Town Clerk until 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Principal components of the project include the following:

Bid 1: Chip Seal 125th Ave NW from County Road 7 to Hart Ave, Hart Ave to 120th Street, 120th Street to Hollister Ave which is approximately 1 mile of road surface

Add Alternate 1A: 124th Ave to and including turn-around

Bid 2: Chip Seal 140th Street NW from West side of State Highway 24 to Clearwater River Bridge which is approximately one mile of road

Add Alternate 2A: Jenkins Ave NW & Jarvis Ave NW to and including turn-arounds

The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office of:  Clearwater Township, 15015 State Highway 24, Clearwater MN 55320; 320-558-4011.  Office Hours are Monday’s & Wednesdays from 8am – 2pm.

Bids will only be accepted from Contractors that request copies of the Bidding Documents.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, cash deposit, or bid bond, made payable to Clearwater Township, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. 

The Town Board reserves the right to award or reject any or all parts of the bids and to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of Clearwater Township.
