TITLE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 2021-01
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY’S FEE SCHEDULE
The City Council of the City of Clearwater, Minnesota, Counties of Wright and Stearns, does hereby amend the City’s fee schedule ordinance for 2021. Shown here is a summary of the major changes.
- Added a required deposit of $100 for concession stand rentals at Sportsman’s Park
- Reduced license fee to $3,000 for on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses
- Reduced license fee to $300 for on-sale wine liquor licenses
- Added $100 background check fee for liquor licenses to cover new fee added by Wright County
- Increased water and sewer user rates by 3%
- Changed WAC charges to $2,500
- Changed SAC charges to $3,500
- Changed sewer trunk charges to $2,000
- Increased storm sewer charges to $5.00 per period
- Increased most Planning & Zoning charges and escrows to cover the city’s actual costs. For most applications, the new application fee will be $400 and the initial escrow will be $1,500.
