Public Hearing Notice

Wellhead Protection Plan Amendment

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clearwater City Council will conduct a Public Hearing during the regular City Council meeting on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Clearwater City Hall, 605 County Rd 75, Clearwater, Minnesota, to discuss amendments to the city’s Wellhead Protection Plan.

The city is in the process of developing a Wellhead Protection Plan amendment for its drinking water supply wells as required in the Minnesota Wellhead Protection Rule (part 4720.5350, subparts 1-3).  A copy of this document is available at City Hall for your review. Consistent with the Wellhead Protection Rule (part 4720.5350, subpart 4), this Public Hearing has been scheduled to discuss issues and address all comments related to the document.

If you wish to address the City Council regarding the proposed amendment, please plan to attend the Public Hearing, or you may submit your written comments prior to the meeting.  Written comments may be emailed to asmythe@clearwatercity.com or mailed to PO Box 9, Clearwater, MN 55320.
