INTERIM ORDINANCE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TEMPORARY PREDATORY OFFENDER RESIDENCY REGULATIONS TO ALLOW FOR THE STUDY, ADOPTION OR AMENDMENT OF OFFICIAL CONTROLS RELATED TO THE CITY’S ZONING CODE

The Purpose and intent of this Ordinance is to establish temporary predatory offender residency regulations similar to the predatory offender residency regulations that have been promulgated by various Minnesota cities to all the City of Clear Lake to have regulations and protections in effect for the health, safety and welfare of its citizens.  This Ordinance is intended to facilitate the study, adoption or amendment of official controls, whereby the City planning staff can study the common residency distance regulations and other regulation approaches that may result in the permanent adoption and enactment of reasonable predatory offender residency regulations for the City of Clear Lake. related to Clear Lake Ordinance Number 99-03 (the zoning Code)  Printed copies of the full text of this ordinance are available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk during regular business hours or on the city website.  

This ordinance was passed and the summary thereof approved on the 7th day of March, 2016
