NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that filing for the offices of Mayor and two (2) City Council Members will open Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. and will close Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
OFFICES TO BE FILLED: One (1) Mayoral position, which serves a two-year term and two (2) Council member positions which serve a four-year term. All terms begin January 4, 2021 (first Monday in January).
Affidavits of candidacy will be received week days beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Clear Lake City Hall, 7684 1st Ave West during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and until 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2020. You must declare which seat or position that you are filing for on your affidavit.
The Election for these City Offices will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
A $2.00 filing fee is required for each candidate.
