Notice Of Annual Meeting and Election of Officers

Becker Township, Sherburne County, Minnesota

The Citizens of the Township of Becker, County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota, who are qualified to vote at General Elections, are hereby notified that the Annual Township Election and Meeting for said Township will be held at the American Legion Post 193, 12155 Hancock St., Becker, MN on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, for the following purposes:

To elect Town Supervisor Seat Three for a term of three (3) years

Election poll hours will be 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on said day.  In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday, March 15, 2022.  If inclement weather also postpones the election and meeting on the third Tuesday, the Town Board shall set a date within the following thirty days.

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:01 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.  The Annual Meeting will be held at the Becker Township Hall, 12165 Hancock Street (next door to the American Legion). 

The Board of Canvass will meet on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, immediately following the annual meeting. 

The Township office will be open on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00 to Noon for absentee voting.
