This summer, our office will host a few exciting programs for students in Minnesota’s Sixth District
First, our Young Women’s Leadership Program is continuing in 2025, with a new, exciting format! Since 2016, this program has worked to connect present and future female leaders from across the Sixth District to build relationships, learn, and grow.
The program allows young women in the Sixth District to bolster their resumes and receive guidance and mentorship from female leaders as they prepare for their next steps after high school. This year, we will host all Young Women’s Leadership Program sessions on one day at a central location in the Sixth District to ensure maximum engagement and participation. We are currently accepting applications for this year’s program! Visit our website to learn more and apply
Our office is also participating in the Congressional App Challenge again this year! Since 2013, the Congressional App Challenge has worked to develop students’ science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills to meet the demands of our increasingly digital world in a fun and competitive environment.
The App Challenge invites high school students to compete against their classmates and students around the country in creating their own software application for mobile devices, or an app. For more information on how to apply and challenge rules, visit our website here.
We welcome and encourage all eligible students to apply for these exciting programs!
