I am the Site Coordinator at the Catholic Charities Senior Dining/Meal on Wheels program located at the Woodbriar Senior building in Becker. I thought the best part of my job was going to be helping people. Little did I realize how much more if would turn out to be. During the Christmas season a situation arose where assistance was needed for a participant. I put the word out to the volunteers expecting empathy and instead received monetary donations. We not only received enough money for that one, but for three participants! I was able to send invoices stating that "Due to contributions received your monthly balance has been paid!" I then received a letter from one recipient stating; "The pay it forward was such a surprise for us, we would like to pass the same gift to someone else!"

 

So now I get to continue on with the unexpected blessing for others. I love being a part of people helping people.
