To The Editor:

The Citizen Tribune is now a full service newspaper with Schwieters Chev with some good discounts, many jobs available and what the counties on both sides of the river are doing.

Penny Luethard had a good article about the GOP senate hopefuls. It seems that they would follow Dave Brown as to what they would do in St. Paul. Schumacher is using the coal burning Sherco electric plant as a support as he would keep all those jobs from being lost.

Rep. Newberger is doing the same thing even though coal fired electric plants are on the way out along with nuclear power plants. The Sunday paper had a full story on what will happen when X-cel energy carries out its plans for the future.

A $550 million dollar urea fertilizer plant is being built near Beuleh, ND which will use coal and is adjacent to the co-ops synfuels plant that is making natural gas to be used to fuel electric power plants.

Even Minnesota farmers will benefit with less expensive fertilizer. The Monticello power plant could set up a plant to process the train loads of coal into gas and urea fertilizer and its needs to happen if the investers can see the light. We process garbage into fuel now.

Is a few weeks we should be hearing about what is happening in St. Paul, like no baby-sitting money, paying off some higher interest bonds, replace the tobacco funds that the GOP took, state airport money was supposed to paid back by now.
