Now to the subject I originally intended to address but how could that be done with so many life critical issues before us as more paramount.
Our roadsides are a reflection of all the other mentioned above and so many more conditions within our society. We as a society have in so many ways lost the meaning and idea of self respect - respect for our neighbor, our property and our neighbor’s property. I just can't imagine after finishing a sandwich and/or a liquid refreshment tossing the refuse out the vehicle window. Now wait a minute, how did that ever begin to happen? Only a couple reasons are even feasible to me: 1) parents never taught their children right from wrong; 2) parents did teach them but the now so called adults really have not grown up, or maybe they were taught the right thing but they have thrown the good they may have learned out the same window.
And what is almost as bad is that much of this trash is tossed into the roadside of our agricultural land. Now these stewards and food producers of the land, whose land is abused seem to do little in taking a little pride by not climbing on their convenient 4-wheelers and picking up the abuser's waste. That tells you and me they don't care much either. Sad twice!
Come on Americans revitalize yourselves and show you care. We have some work to do!
