I have an issue with the Plenty to Talk About article from the April 9th edition of the Citizen Tribune. It is the responsibility of your staff to report the news and save opinions for the Op/Ed page. Mrs. Pilarski was asking a question on behalf of the tax paying citizens of our great city regarding the golf course, and was unfairly tagged as a disgruntled citizen, not only in the headline, but in the body of the story as well.

 

I believe she is due an apology from Mr. Morgan for his poor judgement in using his opinion rather than just reporting the facts, as well as from you for allowing the article to be published as it was written. 

 

It is the right as citizens to ask questions of our city council without the fear of being tagged as anything other than a citizen by your staff.
