Last week, President Donald Trump gave his first Joint Address to Congress of his second term.

During his speech, President Trump laid out his vision for the next four years. It was an inspiring celebration of the renewal of the American Dream, and we look forward to working with him to Make America Great Again!

I was honored to be joined at the speech by some truly amazing Minnesotans: Minnesota Speaker of the House Lisa Demuth and “Miracle on Ice” hockey legends Buzz Schneider and Rob McClanahan.

Speaker Demuth has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2019 and was elected as Speaker earlier this year. She was also recently named Minnesota Woman of the Year by USA Today. Welcoming Buzz Schneider and Rob McClanahan, both proud Minnesota natives and gold medalists from the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team, was extra special as our office hosted the Stanley Cup on the same day. Whether through leadership in our state or unforgettable contributions to one of the most iconic moments in sports history, these individuals represent the best of Minnesota and the American spirit.

President Trump’s joint address last week showed the country that America is back, and the renewal of the American Dream is well underway. I was honored to attend his address and look forward to continuing to work with him to implement his America First Agenda.
