From visiting a top-tier technology manufacturer in our district to attending our 9th annual Young Women’s Leadership Program, last week we had the opportunity to participate in some outstanding meetings in Minnesota.
First, we visited VanGuard Pipeline Inspection’s manufacturing facility in Maple Lake. Serving the oil and gas industries, VanGuard Pipeline Inspection develops cutting-edge aerial detection tools to inspect and find methane gas leaks. The technology they’ve developed fits fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters and provides some of the most efficient and cost-effective ways to monitor and track pipeline integrity.
It was great to meet their team and learn about their work. We are proud to have such an innovative company in Minnesota’s Sixth District
Since 2016, our office’s Young Women’s Leadership Program has connected current and future female leaders from across Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District. Last week, we hosted our 9th annual Young Women’s Leadership Program with a new format, many exciting panelists, and a new cohort of participants.
Participants included young women from across Minnesota’s Sixth District, and panelists featured female leaders in education, law, manufacturing, and the medical fields. It was a great event, and we are grateful to all of our incredible panelists and participants for joining us.
Finally, last night we held our second telephone town hall of the year. Events like this are a great opportunity for us to speak with all of you while we are in Washington fighting on your behalf. We hope you were able to join us, but if you weren’t, you can always get your questions answered by calling our office at (763) 241-6848 or emailing at: emmer.house.gov/contact.
