TO THE EDITOR:
Rep. Tom Emmer is afraid of what his constituents would say about the chaos in Washington. He’s hiding. He’s refusing to hold Town Halls to hear from the taxpayers in his district. He’s parroting the same nonsense that other GOP congressmen are parroting: that people raising their voices at the meetings are paid and from outside the districts. Which sounds a lot like the bologna that Republcans peddled right after January 6th: that the rioters weren’t Trumpers; they were actually left-wing antifa’s carrying out a false flag operation to discredit Trump. Are those the same antifa’s which formed the J6 Prison Choir and the same antifa’s who were pardoned en masse by Trump on his first day in office? Tom, please be honest and please be real. Show some courage and face your constituents. I, for one, will be more than happy to show my ID proving that I live in your district. And no one needs to pay me to express my point of view loud and clear! Count on that.
