Letters To The Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

Our Governor wears many titles — Czar Waltz,  Tampon Tim and others. But it’s time we call him the Governor of Fraud. Our Stolen Valor Governor has proudly watched over a half dozen federal and state fraud cases. Covid fraud,  medical insurance fraud and state contract fraud to name a few. Governor Fraud, misused billions of surplus funds to ‘feed” his political allies every imaginable social hand out. And now is pursuing budget busting bonds to fix our state infrastructure that he criminally left rot. But, Governor Fraud does have a sense of humor. He has implemented a fraud committee to investigate and review fraud cases in Minnesota. Governor Fraud overseeing potential fraud is like a arsonist becoming state fire marshall.

TO THE EDITOR:

The squeaky wheel does NOT get the grease; it suffers retaliation if taking on a communications giant.  After decades of “service” from Frontier Communications that were filled with frequently dropped phone and internet service and repairs that took up to two years to be realized, we have felt the retaliatory hand of Big Brother especially hard the last seven months.  After a July offer of a better and cheaper plan by Frontier’s representative, I have spent an average of four hours a month on the phone asking “WHY” the bill jumped each month.   I refused “autopay” because I have no level of trust in Frontier.  Aware of the issue of theft from rural mailboxes, I now pay my bills at a local post office.  I did so in early January, only to be surprised in the final days of January that my bill was unpaid.  I tried to communicate with Frontier—last week I did reach a human who wanted me to download an app.  This week an automated voice on a dozen customer service calls (various numbers) offered me an app, which I declined, and every time my call was automatically terminated.  The “chat” could do no more than suggest I call customer service and speak with a person.  Are there any satisfied Frontier Communications customers reading this letter?
