What a great weekend of events at the Becker Community Center!

 

On Saturday, Becker’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon hosted a celebration for Military Kids Day. A huge thank you goes out to all of the businesses and citizens of our community that donated bicycles, food, advertising, and time – especially our firefighters, Boy Scouts, Honor Guard, Ladies Auxiliary, Perfectly Princessed Performers, the clowns and magician. A special thank you goes out to Cheryl and Destiny for preparing and serving the food. Congratulations to the winners of the bicycles! It was a day of appreciation that will be remembered for a long time.

 

On Sunday the Becker Lions and Backpack Buddies held a breakfast fundraiser and silent auction. Thanks again to those who donated and to the volunteers who made this possible, the Boy Scouts, South Santiago Church and the nurses from Allina Health.
