TO THE EDITOR:

Recently a letter was printed advising people that you can maintain your conservative values AND vote for Democrat Candidates.  I beg to differ.  Please keep in mind, that in the past 8 years DFL legislators have worked double-time to change our great state into a big government, socialist-styled haven.  What have we seen?  A good place to start would be in 2013.  The DFL had control over the entire state government.  They raised taxes.  They attempted to take away your Second Amendment Rights.  They began the process of FORCING everyone to comply with Obama Care – if not, then YOU would be fined.  Let’s not forget that they led the charge to shut down our power plants, including Sherco – the economic life blood of our area.  This election cycle, the DFL is striving to DEFUND POLICE DEPARTMENTS as they turn a blind eye to the looting, rioting and destruction in our cities.  Some of their members have even participated in these events!  I challenge anyone to look up the DFL party platform on the internet.  Compare it to the Socialist Party USA platform.  They are identical.  Socialism destroys nations, wrecks infrastructure and has taken the lives of hundreds of millions of people.  We cannot create that kind of a future for our children and grandchildren.  Don’t let the Democrats “Highjack your vote”.
