TO THE EDITOR:

As a resident of Orrock township, I do not get to vote in the races happening for open seats in the City or Big Lake with the exception of School Board.  I, like many residents who live in surrounding townships, still call Big Lake our city and have vested interests in seeing that the city thrives and be successful.  To be successful our city, Big Lake, needs to have strong leadership on the City Council.  For that reason, I am writing to support Paul Seefeld and Sam Hanson for City Council. 

Paul Seefeld and Sam Hanson support transparency in how the decisions are made by the Council.  Paul Seefeld and Sam support Paying down the Debt and continuing to be fiscally responsible.  Paul Seefeld and Sam Hanson are strong in their support of Police.  Both Sam Hanson and Paul Seefeld were moved to run for office because of hearing the concerns of their fellow citizens.  They didn’t just join in the chorus of complaints, they stood up and offered to help make change.  Sam Hanson and Paul Seefeld are no strangers to public service.  They have dedicated their lives to Public service, Paul Seefeld with his Military service and Sam Hanson with his service on the Fire Department.  They have the best interests of Big Lake in their decisions and positions they will bring to the City Council.
