TO THE EDITOR:

When America was born, its founders worshipped God. He responded by blessing America and making it prosper. Over the past several years, people have turned away from Him. And now, God isn’t blessing America because of its sins. The worst is killing babies. In America, 60 million babies have been killed by abortion, including partial birth – babies rejected by their mothers. And that number is increasing. We punish people who commit murder on the streets, but killing babies is encouraged.

There are other blatant sins proliferating today. Homosexuality is an abomination to God who created us man and woman for obvious reasons. Those who follow their faiths regarding gay marriage have experienced forced tolerance. We’re also heading toward socialism, the danger being destruction of America. Then there’s corruption in government.

Continuing these things and others not mentioned will cause further incurring of God’s judgement. He can cause natural occurrences as punishment such as earthquakes, pestilence, widespread fires, floods, etc. If these sins are what you want for our country, consider who you’ll vote for and not just choose your favorite item. Candidates come as a package, and you could be supporting those sins. If America turns to God in repentance, asks for forgiveness and turn from its wicked ways, He will listen and forgive.
