TO THE EDITOR:

I am writing today to encourage you to vote for Tim Dolan for Sherburne County Commissioner.

I have never encountered someone in public office who is so open and engaging. He is constantly in communication with his constituents and providing up to date information about what is going on in our county. When people disagree about issues he invites them to meet in person to discuss. Have you ever seen someone else do this??

Tim makes a point to visit the small businesses in the county and mentions where he is at in order to help their business grow. He continually asks what the people and the businesses need from the county.

I have always believed that local politics should be nonpartisan and that decision making should be based on what is best for the county/city, even if it doesn’t match up with your usual political beliefs. Tim is a great example of this. His opponent is backed by the local 15B republican BPOU but that doesn’t mean that she is the best choice for our county.

Tim is a staunch supporter of the 2A. Don’t let the naysayers sway you due to the fact that the county board has not declared Sherburne a 2A sanctuary county. Do some research as to why they haven’t before you vote. There are so many other important issues going on that I hope you don’t vote solely on this one notion.

Commissioner Dolan, thank you for all you have done (Including lowering the county portion of our property taxes) and I look forward to what you can accomplish in the next four years.
