St. Luke’s Parish Festival
Sun., Aug. 28, Sun. mass at 10 a.m. Pork chop dinner is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Quilt auction is at 2 p.m. and grand raffle drawing is about 4 p.m. There will be a country store featuring fresh produce for sale, food both, cake walk, Bingo, craft booths, pop and beer, games for children and adults, inflatable and games with Father. Becker Chamber at the Commerce Bowl-Off
The Becker Chamber is parnering with the Big Lake and Monticello Chambers for the first Bowl-Off Challenge, Thurs., Aug. 25. The first 8 to respond will be team participants (team t-shirts provided), but would also appreciate a cheering section. Plus, we are also asking for 7 sponsors. St. Cloud Area Parkinson's Disease (PD) Support Group meets the third Monday of each month from 1-2:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Library. There is no cost to attend. Young at Heart Lunch
Will be on Thurs., Aug. 18, at Rejoice Lutheran Church, Clearwater, freewill donation for lunch. Card playing begins at 10:30 a.m.. along with the new craze of “Coloring for Adults,” lead by Gail Bradford. Bring your colored pencils and pictures, or some will be available for you to use. Upcoming Activities at Annandale Public Library
Sunshine Storytime, Tues., Aug. 16, 10-11 a.m. Children ages 3-8 are invited 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Enjoy stories, songs and a fun craft. Attendance is limited and preregistration is required. Yu-Gi-Oh, Wed., Aug. 17, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Teens ages 13-17 are invited to enjoy an afternoon playing Yu-Gi-Oh An experienced player will be available to help you learn this fun card game and prepare you for a Fall Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. Bring your decks. All playing cards must follow current ban list. The attendance limit is 12. Call to register or walk-in and join the fun.
