Becker wrestling sent 18 wrestlers to Rochester March 6-8 for the MN/USA Youth State Tournament.
Nine of the 18 made the podium, including three champions. Blayne Kuschel was the champion of the Intermediate, 84-lb bracket; Kaden Nicolas won the Schoolboy, 87-lb bracket; Samantha Lumley was the champion of the Novice girls, 110-lb bracket.
Keelan Weller placed fourth in the PeeWee, 45-lb bracket; Mason Weller placed fourth in the Bantam, 58-lb bracket; Jacob Williams placed third in the Intermediate, 63-lb bracket; Bennett Kujawa took second in the Novice, 78-lb bracket; Boston Kuschel took fourth in the Novice, 78-lb bracket; Landen Kujawa placed fourth in the Schoolboy, 97-lb bracket.
Other Becker wrestlers that competed but did not place included Tyler Hall, Jack Fisher, Ryan Fisher, Andy Fisher, Brady Anderson, Aiden Trenz, Eli Seifert, Parker Trenz and Harper Hamacher.
