Third grader Blayne Kushcel won the 8U, 70-lb bracket at the Winter Nationals in Omaha, NE, Jan. 5-6 — becoming the second wrestler to win Winter Nationals and Rumble on the Red.
Fourth grader Boston Kuschel took eighth place in the 10U, 70 lb bracket.
Badgerland Nationals
Other Becker youth wrestlers competed in LaCrosse, WI at the Badgerland Nationals.
Sixth grader Kaden Nicolas placed second in the fifth-sixth grade, 82-lb bracket. Sixth grader Landen Kujawa placed third in the fifth-sixth grade, 78-lb bracket. Fourth grader Bennett Kujawa placed third in the third-fourth grade, 69-lb bracket. Sixth grader Isaac Daluge placed sixth in the fifth-sixth grade, 74-lb bracket.
Over 700 wrestlers from 10-15 states competed in this Midwest Wrestling Tour tournament.
Buffalo Nationals
Four youth wrestlers placed at South Dakota's Buffalo Nationals Jan. 19.
Fourth grader Bennett Kujawa won the third-fourth grade, 66-lb bracket. Sixth graders Kaden Nicolas (82-lb bracket) and Landen Kujawa (78-lb bracket) both placed third in their brackets. First grader Rylan Kujawa placed fourth in the first-second grade, 65-lb bracket.
Also, Bennett Kujawa, Kaden Nicolas and Landen Kujawa earned the coveted MWT belt for placing in the top four at three of the four MWT tournaments.
