The Bulldog volleyball team went 1-1 this week, beating St. Cloud Tech Monday at home and losing to St. Francis High School Thursday on the road. 

Their record sits at 11-8 (3-4) with three matches left in the regular season.

Becker 3, Tech 0

The Bulldogs took the match in three straight sets, winning the first one 25-22, then nearly repeating the score in the second set, 25-21 before polishing them off with a 25-17 win in the third.

Kady Lindbom had 15 kills, four errors and 33 total attempts to lead the Bulldogs. Allie Hill had nine kills, four errors and 26 total attempts. Ellie Wenner finished with 15 sets and Tina Gruber had 12. 

Emilie Baumgartner had 13 defenses.

Saints 3, Bulldogs 0

Becker visited St. Francis Thursday and lost in three sets.

The first set was a final at 25-20, the second at 25-10 and the third at 25-20.

The girls  head to Monticello Tuesday to take on the Magic, then off to Cambridge-Isanti Thursday to take on the Bluejackets before finishing off the season on the road at Princeton Oct. 15.

The Section 8AAA playoffs start Oct. 23 after seeding is determined Oct. 20. The state tournament starts Nov. 7-9 at Xcel Energy Center.
