Rocori’s Marja Sorenson shot a two-day total of 149 and won medalist honors in the Section 6-2A girls golf meet Tuesday at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course.
Osakis (679) took first place to advance to the state tournament. Becker finished fourth.
Emily Israelson of Staples-Motley (153), Jessica Hawks of Pierz (172), Morgan Kranz of Sauk Centre (173) and Heather Theisen of Wadena-Deer Creek (173) join Sorenson among individuals who advanced to state.
St. Cloud Cathedral’s Ann Berdan (173) was tied for fourth with Kranz and Theisen, but was eliminated in a playoff hole.
Becker sophomore Rachel Vogl shot a two-day, 36-hole score of 181 to lead the Bulldogs. She was followed by Ashley Neuwirth (187), Aly Fisher (187), Cheyenne Piccolo (189) and Macy Erson (194).
