The Bulldog tennis and volleyball teams are into the end of their seasons this week.

The tennis team headed to Sartell Friday  for the beginning of the section playoffs. 

In the first round, Becker, seeded No. 2, beat the Sabres, seeded No. 7, by a 7-0 score to advance. Becker then went on to beat Tech, the No. 3 seed, by a 4-3 score to advance to the Friday finals.

The volleyball team ended their regular season this week, taking on the Magic at Monticello Tuesday, then were at Cambridge-Isanti Thursday. Their final match of the season will be at Princeton Oct. 15. No results of the Monticello or Cambridge-Isanti matches were reported. 

There will be no coverage of the Bulldog football game at Willmar in this week’s edition. It will be covered next week.
