The Becker Bulldog girls swim and dive team traveled to Foley Tuesday night and lost to the Falcons by 34.

Eight Bulldog girls qualified for sections after this first meet of the year.
Andrea Molus qualified in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. Macy Erson in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Nicole Larrison in the 100 freestyle, Emi Quill and Emily Skelton in diving, Emma Lefebvre in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Vanessa Gilles in the 100 backstroke and Maddie Thorn in the 100 backstroke.
Becker won the 400 relay in 4:15.62.
Foley’s Kasey Milstroh broke a school and pool record in the 100 butterfly for the Falcons. Milstroh swam the 100 butterfly in 59.14 seconds, which broke the school record of 1:01.31.
Milstroh also broke the pool record in the 200 freestyle (1:56.53). The previous record was 1:59.0.
“Overall, it was a successful night for us,” said Head Coach Tina Tamm. “The girls swam very well against a very tough team. I look forward to seeing the continued improvements from all the girls throughout the season.”
Becker’s next meet is at home Thursday versus Ogilvie/Mora.
