In Becker’s second meet of the season, Tina Tamm’s team had 16 improved times over their first meet.

“I moved some girls around in the lineup and I am certain we would have had more improved times if the line up would have stayed the same as the first one,” she said regrettably.

Andrea Molus (who had previously qualified for sections) qualified for the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke in this meet.  Shelby Steffen also qualified for the first time in the 100 butterfly.

“We have a few girls that are very close to qualifying and will accomplish that in the next few meets,” said Tamm.

Tamm is already impressed with her group of girls who are continuing to work hard at practice and are starting to see the rewards with their improved times at the meets.

The team’s next meet is at home against Milaca Thursday, at  6 p.m., then they switch pools and travel to Milaca Saturday for a 1 p.m. meet.
