Strong finish to the PCWC golf season

The Pebble Creek Women’s Club officially ended the 2023 season at their recent Fall Banquet where final champions were announced and a newly elected Board of Directors was seated.

“Being able to gather as a community of golfers and celebrate another great season was amazing,” said Amy Stanger, newly confirmed Pebble Creek Women’s Club President. “The Pebble Creek Women’s Club is made up of a great group of women of all levels of golfing ability from beginner to more experienced.  We build friendships, improve our golf games and work together to expand the game of golf to women and girls of all ages.”

Joining Stanger on the 2023-2024 Board of Directors is Past President Jamie May, Vice President Jesse O’Neill, Treasurer Nicole Lane and Secretary Kirsten Voller along with four Directors: Melissa Schauer, Stacey Vetsch, Paige Krumme and Malinda Pudlick.

Winners of the final competitions of the Pebble Creek Women’s Club season were announced including for the 9-Hole Year-End Tournament and the Match Play competitions. The award for most significant improvement in performance was also presented.

The 2023 9-Hole Year-End Tournament first flight winners are Sonya Cox (first place), Joan Frie (second place) and Dana Olsen (third place). Second flight winners are Bev Knutson (first place), Kelly Rose (second place) and Brenda Holmgren (third place). Third flight winners are Sherry Hubbard (first place), Roxy Graning (second place) and Cindy Brennan (third place). Fourth Flight winners are Paula Peters (first place), Amanda Haley (second place) and Toni Kutson (third flight).

The 2023 Women’s Doubles Match Play Champions are Joan Frie and Annie Hegg and the runners-up are Kirsten Voller and Kathy Hollenhorst.  The 2023 Women’s Singles Match Play Champion is Kathy Hollenhorst and the runner-up is Sandra Lemke.

The player honored with the most significant improvement in performance is Dana Olsen.
