Strong Finish To The 2017 Pebble Creek Women’s Club Golf Season

The Pebble Creek Women’s Club officially ended the 2017 season and held their annual fall banquet where year-long winners were announced and a newly elected board of directors was seated.
 
“We had a wonderful golf season this year with many social events and competitive tournaments for our members,” said Kirsten Voller, newly-confirmed Pebble Creek Women’s Club president.  
 
“The Pebble Creek Women’s Club is made up of a great group of women – who build friendships, improve their golf game and work together to expand the game of golf and support our local community.”
 
Joining Voller on the 2017-2018 Board of Directors is past President Denise Weiss, Vice President Karin Pauly, Treasurer Nicole Lane, Secretary Jen Fingarson along with five directors: Peggy Sogard, Mary Mount, Lynette Brannan, Karla Johnson and Jennifer Miller. 
 
Winners of the final competitions held throughout the Pebble Creek Women’s Club season were announced including the winners of the Year-End 9-Hole Players Tournament and the 9-Hole Singles Match Play competition. The award for most significant improvement in performance was also presented.
 
The 2017 9-Hole Year-End Players Tournament first flight winners are Karla Johnson (first place), Kim Konerza (second place) and Anna Babler (third place).  Second flight winners are Jennifer Miller (first place), Stacey Vetsch (second place) and Sara Schliesing (third place).  Third flight winners are Lori Berends (first place), Mary Jo Stanger (second place) and Julie Anderson (third place).
 
The 2017 Women’s 9-Hole Singles Match Play Champion is Kim Konerza and the runner-up is Brenda Ashmore. The player honored with the most significant improvement in performance for 2017 is Carole Engelby.
