THE BASEBALL TEAM was able to practice this week on the ballfield despite some lingering snowbanks still hanging around. However, the temperature turned moderate and the guys relished the fact they were swinging bats and throwing balls in the great outdoors. (Photo by Bill Morgan).

Finally!
For the first time this season, the boys and girls athletes of Becker High School took to the fields, diamonds, courts and tracks to get in some practice on home turf before the regular season begins.
Boys and girls lacrosse teams have been seen honing their skills by the varisty baseball field and at the BAC.
The baseball team got to utilize their field for some pitching, catching and hitting.
Girls softball is still utilizing the indoor batting cages and the main high school gym while their field dries out.
Track & field athletes have been indoors utilizing the Fieldhouse for early events but will soon take to the track that encircles the soccer field.
Boys tennis has been braving the elements as they’ve already hosted a tennis match and traveled elsewhere to compete in frigid temps.
The boys and girls golf teams finally got out of the wrestling room and hit the links at Pebble Creek to the delight of the young golfers.
Soon, the sun will be shining and warmer temperatures will allow for full participation under blue skies!
