The Pebble Creek Women’s Club completed its year-end Club Championship tournament on August 16 and 17 at the Pebble Creek Golf Club.
“We had a wonderful Club Championship with many of our Women’s Club members playing across several flights,” said Jesse O’Neill, Pebble Creek Women’s Club President. “The Pebble Creek Women’s Club is made up of a great group of women who build friendships, work to expand the game of golf and who support our local community through our Pebble Creek Cares program. We send our congratulations to all of Club Championship participants and winners.”
The overall low gross winner and 2025 Women’s Club Champion is Layla Mathews. In the first flight, the top net winners were Sandra Lemke (first) and Joan Frie (second). In the second flight, the top net finishers were Carolyn Barriball (first) and Sonya Cox (second – tie) and Robin Dingmann (second - tie). In the third flight, top net finishers were Stacey Vetsch (first), Amy Stanger (second) and Wendy Guiney (third).
“We are so fortunate to have such a first-class golf course for our women’s league”, said Amy Stanger, Club Championship tournament co-chair. “The course was in great shape even after a lot of rain, and the tournament ran smoothly thanks to the entire Pebble Creek team! We’d like to thank Jason Scharfencamp, Pebble Creek Golf Superintendent and Ian Holmes, Pebble Creek Golf Services Manager for helping us hold another great event this year.”
