The Pebble Creek Women’s Club completed its year-end Club Championship tournament on August 17-18 at Pebble Creek Golf Club.

 “We had a wonderful club championship with many of our women’s club members playing across several flights,” said Amy Stanger, Pebble Creek Women’s Club President.  

“The Pebble Creek Women’s Club is made up of a great group of women who build friendships, work to expand the game of golf and who support our local community through our Pebble Creek Cares program. We send our congratulations to all of club championship participants and winners.”

The overall low gross winner and 2024 Women’s Club Champion is Kathy Hollenhorst.  In the first flight, the top net winners were Joan Frie (first) and Sandra Lemke (second). In the second flight, the top net finishers were Robin Dingmann (first) and Carolyn Barriball (second – tie) and  Stacey Vetsch (second - tie). In the third flight, top net finishers were Brenda Ashmore (first), Sara Schwiderski (second) and Melissa Schauer (third).

“We are so fortunate to have such a first-class golf course for our women’s league”, said Kathy Hollenhorst, Club Championship tournament co-chair. 

“The course was in great shape and the tournament ran smoothly thanks to the entire Pebble Creek team!  We’d like to thank Jason Scharfencamp, Pebble Creek Golf Superintendent and Ian Holmes, Pebble Creek Guest Services Manager for helping us hold another great event again this year.”
