Greg Mattson followed up an even par 72 Saturday with a 77 on Sunday which was good enough to win the Pebble Creek Sr. Club Championship for the second year in a row.
Randy Siemers carded six birdies in his second round but it was not enough to catch Mattson and finished second with a two day total of nine over par.
There were three net flights and Ray Sauer finished -2 with a 69-73 to win the first flight. Mark Dunderi played consistent golf shooting 72-73 to win a scorecard playoff over Siemers and Steve Engelby to win second place at the first flight.
Lonnie Fluck carded a tournament low net 66 on day one and held on to win the second flight by five strokes over Christ Meidt, who finished three over par to take second.
In the closest flight Wayne Yarke, after three strong nines, held off Scotty Paulson to defeat him by one stroke, finishing two over par. Paulson won a scorecard playoff over Mike Doering to finish second in the third flight.
Pebble Creek’s club championship is scheduled for the 29th and 30th of August.
