The Hornet girls basketball team lost to Monticello 63-28 in the Section 5AAA quarterfinals last Thursday. 

The team was unable to generate much offense against the Magic’s stifling defense. Shiloh Elliot led the Hornets in scoring with nine points followed by Rylie Sternquist with eight and Kadyn Dilger with six. Ashley Fitzgibbons added three and Raina White two. 

Big Lake ends the season with a 12-15 record.
