Madi Kealy Competes For First Time For College Cc Team

Becker’s Madi Kealy, a 2014 graduate now running for the Jamestown Jimmies as a freshman, finished 45th (21:19) in last Friday’s Randy Smith Invitational 5k in Glyndon, MN.
 
Sophomore Christa Lysne (Devils Lake, ND) and junior Samantha Goff (Danvers, MN) ran career best 5K cross country times to finish 11th and 12th in the 67 runner field.
 
Kealy, the daughter of Trish and Pat Kealy, last year signed a North Star Athletic Association letter of intent and is participating in track & field and cross country for the Jimmies. 
 
Madison is studying elementary education. 
 
“Madi was running her first collegiate meet, so I was happy with her time and place – and especially that she appears to be healthy,” Head Coach Jim Clark said.
