Senior receiver and free safety, Carter Reckelberg, was named Player of the Week for his outstanding game vs Princeton. Becker won 28-7 and advanced to the state tournament.
“Carter had one of the most amazing games that our coaching staff could recall,” said Head Coach Dwight Lundeen. “Offensively Carter had three TD receptions. Defensively he had an interception, a fumble recovery, and seven tackles. Our fans were chanting ‘MVP’.”
The game was played at STMA which is also the site for the state track and field meet - Carter had won the long jump there the last two years. After the game Carter said, “I really enjoy competing here”.”
