Registration for the late summer baseball season is officially open as of June 13!
Members of the Becker Youth Baseball Association (BYBA) sent out a survey for feedback on organizing a late summer season based on the latest COVID-19 guidelines. Based on the feedback, The BYBA has opened registration for their late summer season. Parents can register their child through the normal process at www.beckerbaseball.org.
Season Details
This is a new season with a separate registration.Parents will need to sign up for this season regardless if one has signed up for the normal season or not. The BYBA is in the process of sending out the refunds for that season.
The new summer season began June 15 and runs through August 16. BYBA organized teams the week of June 15 to start this season.
Games begin July 6 and will run for six weeks.
Coaches are picking teams with help from the board so if one is a coach and have a team organized, the BYBA will honor that team.
There is no volunteer requirement for the league, but there will be opportunities to help organize and prepare for the season so the BYBA would appreciate anyone’s help.
The board will handle registration for the team including insurance, provide equipment and assist coaches with fields for games and practices.
All teams will play in the Gopher State league.There are several levels of play available for the teams to play so the board will work with the coach to pick the appropriate level.

The Becker Baseball program provides a competitive baseball opportunity with intensive skill development and a high level of competition. The program strides to promote confidence and teamwork while competing with other teams in and around the area.
Youth baseball is managed by a volunteer board, the Becker Baseball Diamond Club. This group is affiliated with the Becker Youth Sports Association (BYSA), a not-for-profit organization that supports youth sports in our community.
