Dan Baird and his varsity girls basketball team held a K-2nd camp and a girls entering 3rd-5th grade camp the week of July 13-16.

Baird said the numbers were great having about 50 girls participate between the two camps. 

“We had our five captains help out for most of those days (Adeline Kent, Courtney Nuest, Julia Bengtson, Megan Gamble and Alayna Lindquist),” said Baird. 

Maren Westin also helped for the three-day event. 

“Nice to have girls help out and model great behavior for the younger kids,” he said. “They were instilling fundamentals, enthusiasm,  and intrinsic motivation to our youth.”
