Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs hosted Coon Rapids, who entered the match with an impressive 6-1 record. Becker was without a few key players in their lineup and lost the match by nine.

The Bulldogs got goals from Sydney Benda, Courtney Fobbe, Mckenzie Opgenorth and Katie Pursley on 11 shots on goal. Coon Rapids fired 20 shots at goalie Kelsi Halvorson and she saved seven.

Orono 14, Becker 11

In a very close game, Orono prevailed over Becker Thursday afternoon.

Fobbe was involved in 14 draws and controlled nine of the 14.

Becker hosted a game Friday night against Monticello (full report on game in next week’s Citizen), then travel to Delano Saturday (today) to take on the Tigers.
