The Breakaways High School Alpine Ski Team competed at the Brainerd Warrior Alpine Invitational Race at Mount Ski Gull in Nisswa last Thursday.

There were 46 Girls and 61 Boys (total of 107 racers) from five schools (Annandale, Brainerd, Detroit Lakes, Lakes Area Alexandria, and the St. Cloud Breakaways) that competed. 

Becker’s Mirra Koubsky paced the varsity girls team, placing fourth in the race for the Breakaways, which is a coop including athletes from St. Cloud, Rocori, Sauk Rapids-Rice, St. John’s Prep, Sartell, and Becker.
