The Pebble Creek Women’s Club (PCWC) completed its club championship tournament July 20-21 at Pebble Creek Golf Club under sunny skies and exceptional course conditions.
“We had a wonderful mid-season club championship with many of our women’s club members playing across several flights,” said Karin Pauly, Pebble Creek Women’s Club President.
“The Pebble Creek Women’s Club is made up of a great group of women – who build friendships, improve their golf game and work together to expand the game of golf and support our local community through our Pebble Creek Cares program. We send our congratulations to all of club championship participants and winners.”
Winners
The overall low gross winner and 2019 Women’s Club Champion was Lori Keller.
In the first flight, the first place finisher was Nicole Lane and the second place finisher was Denise Mason.
In the second flight, the first place finisher was Sara Schliesing and the second place finisher was Stacey Vetsch.
Receiving the “come-back-player” award for the most improved score on the second day of play was Tammy Miller-Hess.
“We are so fortunate to have such a first-class golf course to enjoy during our weekly Tuesday league play as well as for our weekend tournaments”, said Dana Olsen, who co-managed the club championship tournament along with Lynette Brannan.
“The course was in amazing shape and the tournament ran smoothly from start to finish. We’d like to thank Jason Scharfencamp, Pebble Creek golf superintendent and Ian Holmes, Pebble Creek guest services manager for their extra effort in putting on such a great event for us!”
