Jv Swimmers Compete At St. John’s

 
A JV conference swim/dive meet was held at St. John's University Monday.
 
This meet gave Coach Tina Tamm’s girls the opportunity to swim in a championship style meet as well as giving them the chance to improve their times and receive awards for their swims.  
 
Tamm’s girls came away with many awards from this night.
 
Nev Baune placed second in the 200M freestyle, just shy of the section cut time and seventh in the 100M butterfly.
 
Kadance Cox placed sixth in the 50M freestyle.
 
Tia Schaap placed eighth in the 50M freestyle.
 
Ryan Pitts placed fourth in the 100M butterfly with a personal best time.
 
Sophie Studer placed fifth in the 100M butterfly. 
 
Meghan Swanson placed seventh in the 100M backstroke with a personal best time.
 
Becker’s 200M freestyle relay team placed eighth. Swimmers included Avary Maunu, Kaitlyn Uecker, Sophie Studer and Kadance Cox.
 
Becker’s 400M freestyle relay team placed fourth and they included  Rainna Friedman, Kadance Cox, Nev Baune and Tia Schaap.
 
The Bulldogs will host the Granite Ridge Conference championship meet  Saturday.
